How tango.moda uses cookies and similar technologies
Last updated: October 14, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies (such as scripts that collect information about your visit) are covered by this policy too.
2. Cookies and similar technologies on tango.moda
| Type | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | WordPress / our host | Making the site work and keeping it secure (for example, cookies set only for logged-in site administrators). These do not need consent. |
| Statistics | Jetpack Stats (Automattic) | Counting visits and popular pages. A script from stats.wp.com runs when you load a page and may use cookies or similar identifiers. |
| Statistics (consent required) | Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Understanding how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and time on site. Cookies such as _ga and _ga_* are set only after you accept statistics in our cookie banner. |
| Marketing (consent required) | Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) | Measuring and improving our Facebook and Instagram campaigns and showing relevant ads. Cookies such as _fbp are set only after you accept marketing in our cookie banner. |
| Third-party content | Google Fonts; Jetpack image delivery (i0.wp.com) | Loading fonts and images. These services receive your IP address when your browser fetches the files. |
Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel load only after you give consent, and you can accept or refuse statistics and marketing separately. Google and Meta may process data outside the EU under their own safeguards. Third-party store websites you visit from our directory set their own cookies under their own policies.
3. Your choices and consent
Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are used only on the basis of your consent where the law requires it. You can withdraw or manage your consent at any time:
- Cookie banner: use the cookie banner or the “Manage consent” option on the site to accept, refuse or change your choices for statistics and marketing at any time.
- Browser settings: block or delete cookies in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others all offer this in their privacy settings). Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites work.
- Blocking statistics: you can use your browser’s tracking protection or a content blocker to stop scripts from stats.wp.com.
- Contact us: email tango@thecurioustanguero.com with any question about cookies.
